Ice Skating

Last week, 4th, 5th, and 6th class set off on a very cool adventure — literally! We travelled to Mullingar for a fun‑filled day of ice skating, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of the year.

As soon as we stepped onto the ice, there was a mix of excitement, wobbly legs, and lots of laughter. Some of us glided around like professionals, while others held onto the rail for dear life at first — but everyone improved so quickly. By the end, even the nervous skaters were zooming around with big smiles.

There were a few gentle slips (and some dramatic ones), but that only made the day more memorable. Friends helped each other up, cheered each other on, and celebrated every lap around the rink.

The music, the lights, and the wintery atmosphere made it feel like we were in our own little Christmas movie. When our time on the ice was up, nobody wanted to leave — always a sign of a great school trip.
