Active School Week 2025 was an incredible celebration of movement, energy, and wellbeing! From start to finish, the school was buzzing with excitement as pupils took part in a wide range of fun, inclusive, and energetic activities โ showing us all just how enjoyable staying active can be.
Here are just a few highlights from a week packed with action:
๐ดโโ๏ธ Bike Day
Our Bike Day was a huge hit! Pupils brought in their bikes and helmets, and the school yard was transformed into a fun and safe cycling zone. With different races, obstacle courses, and safety tips, children practiced their cycling confidence and balance in the sunshine. It was brilliant to see so many proud faces as pupils mastered new skills and enjoyed the freedom of riding on two wheels.
โฝ Guest Coach Sessions
We were thrilled to welcome a special guest coach this week, Conor Shaw, who led exciting sessions across all class levels. Pupils got stuck into fitness challenges while learning new techniques and building their confidence. The coach commented on the fantastic attitude and enthusiasm shown by every class โ well done, everyone!
๐ League Finals
The excitement reached new heights with our much-anticipated League Finals, where teams competed in the spirit of fair play and teamwork. The finals were full of skill, suspense, and sporting spirit. The whole school gathered to cheer on the players, and the atmosphere was electric. Congratulations to our league winners โ and to all the players who gave their best throughout the competition!
๐ School Tour Adventure
As part of Active School Week, each class also enjoyed their school tour, packed with outdoor fun, exploring new places, and hands-on activities. The hot weather didnโt stop our students โ they stayed hydrated, wore their hats, and made the most of every moment. It was the perfect mix of adventure, learning, and movement.
Throughout the week, the focus was on participation, enjoyment, and making healthy choices. From active breaks and dance sessions to stretching and class walks, every pupil got involved and contributed to the weekโs success.
